Prior to joining BSW, Aaron gained extensive experience across financial services, investment, RIA firms, startup companies, and non-profit organizations. He served as the Director of Operations at Logan Stone Capital, an equity market-neutral hedge fund in Chicago, IL, which later merged with RMB Capital Management in 2015. Aaron earned his MBA with concentrations in Finance and International Business from DePaul University in 2011, following his undergraduate studies in Economics at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he graduated in 2007.

Outside the office, Aaron fully embraces Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle. He is passionate about snowboarding, rafting, rock and ice climbing, and exploring the backcountry through backpacking and mountain biking. In March 2018, Aaron unofficially broke the world record for the most vertical feet snowboarded in a 12-hour period. Additionally, he is an award-winning homebrewer and loves traveling the world with his wife, Rupal, and their daughter, Mira.

Throughout most of my life I was one of the few (most times only) women in my math classes. This was exceedingly apparent in college where I studied both Economics and Finance. The gender disparity drove me to be at the top of every class and learn as much as I possibly could to be the best student, regardless of gender. This determination led me to graduate Magna Cum Laude in 2017 and subsequently receive C.U. Boulder’s M.S. Finance Excellence Award in 2018. My interest in both numbers and the market drove me to start a career in the male-dominated financial industry.

As a portfolio manager at BSW Wealth Partners, I build and maintain BSW client portfolios. I also provide analytical and quantitative support to BSW’s public investment team.

I also hold the position of Director of Research for R3 Returns. In this space, I compile and analyze data to measure the impact of municipal bonds. I am constantly searching for new data and research to improve R3’s municipal bond rating system.

Prior to starting at the firm, I earned my B.A. in Economics & International Affairs (2017) at C.U. Boulder where I was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. The following year I earned my M.S. in Finance (2018) also from C.U. Boulder.

Outside the office, I love traveling, cooking, backpacking & reading a good book with my kitten Jalapeño.

Molly is a jill of all trades on the BSW team. In her role as a Portfolio Manager, she focuses on proactively maintaining and building client portfolios while creating operational enhancements within the BSW Investment Group. Molly is a graduate of the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business where she earned her BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and certificate in Entrepreneurship. She has been with BSW since 2015 with experience internally as a Reporting Specialist, Director of Reporting, & Real Assets Associate. Outside of BSW Molly can be found visiting family in Asia or trekking around Colorado. She enjoys learning about other cultures, spending time in her hometown Fort Collins, and getting outside of her comfort zone!

Elias (E-lee-us) Bachmann is a Managing Principal of BSW Wealth Partners.

Elias joined the firm in late 2009 as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining BSW, he co-managed a discretionary equity and fixed income portfolio for the clients of a different wealth management team. At BSW Wealth Partners, he oversees the firm’s Investment Group and has specific responsibility for its private investment platform and direct real estate investing activities. He is a member of both BSW’s Investment Policy Committee and Management Committee.

Elias completed both his Bachelor’s and MBA degrees at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He also holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.

It seems like another lifetime ago, but Elias has fond memories of running mountain biking camps for Boulder-based Dirt Camp. He enjoys the outdoors and traveling, taking great pleasure in backcountry skiing and mountain biking. Travel, when it isn’t to visit his various family members around the globe, probably involves warm water and waves with his wife Trish and their three children.

As a portfolio manager at BSW Wealth Partners, I build and maintain BSW client portfolios. My primary role is to ensure portfolios are running efficiently while serving my clients to achieve their life goals. With a focus on public equity markets, I work hand in hand with BSW’s director of public investments providing analytical and quantitative support.   Prior to joining BSW, I worked at an RIA in Las Vegas servicing high-net-worth individuals and their families. I specialized in client service, equity research, and portfolio construction.   When not managing portfolios, I spend most of my time with my wife Anna and our newborn son Anthony. As a former Division I athlete, I enjoy spending my weekends on a tennis court or hiking beautiful Boulder trails.
