Congratulations to BSW Associate Advisor Matt Simon on becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional! An arduous process that required successfully completing requisite financial planning coursework, passing the CFP Board exam, and meeting rigorous experience and ethical requirements – Matt put in countless study hours over the past two years. The CFP board curriculum includes study of the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning, retirement & employee benefits, and estate planning.
Matt joined the BSW Wealth Partners team in February 2014. Prior to that, he earned his degree from the University of Colorado where he studied Psychology & Neuroscience. Away from the office (depending on the season) you can find Matt at the crag, the slopes, or on the river.
