David’s career began in the venture capital arena, but his involvement with foundations and family offices ignited an interest in private wealth management. He joined BSW in April, 2002, and grew to become Chief Investment Officer in January, 2010. David’s direction of the Investment Group has enabled a more nimble management of client portfolios and has increased the firm’s sophistication in manager selection. David is also the architect of the firm’s IMPACT Portfolio offering, which allows clients to allocate capital to endeavors that make communities healthier places to live and work without sacrificing returns.
But BSW Wealth Partners is not the only organization to benefit from David’s tireless energy and drive to make a difference. He contributes on a more personal level through work with his alma mater, the Leeds School of Business, at the University of Colorado. Mentoring MBA candidates, establishing an annual scholarship for students in need, serving on the Board and as a member of the Real Estate Council all earned him the 2009 Young Alumni Service award. These efforts, along with those within our walls put him at the top of his class for individuals who are shaping the future of our local community and our world.
